I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I was in DC for the Marine Corp Marathon (not to run, I’m not quite as crazy as that!) to cheer on some friends – I’ll be sure to share pictures with you later. Incredibly, the weather actually held through the entirety of the marathon, but we are now bracing for the hurricane to hit. Luckily, Charlottesville is slightly on the outskirts of the worst of it, but even here, schools are shut down and public transit stalled. And just recently, we received a blizzard alert through 2PM tomorrow!
My husband and I have been running around finishing up a few errands before the potential loss of power, hence the delayed post today, but I know a few of you are anxious to hear the winner of the vintage sheet music giveaway!
